This program provides:
  1. Calorie Confusion - you all know about muscle confusion, so it makes sense why calorie confusion would work too.

  2. Carb Cycling – eating the right carbs at the right time! Carbs are not the enemy, the time you eat them is!

  3. Phase One: Detox for the first 72 hours – this is the most challenging part, but you can get through it! This is designed to detoxify the toxins out of your bodies to create a more efficient, fat-burning machine!

  4. Calculating Your Water Intake – keeping hydrated is an important key to your success. This also helps you to feel fuller longer, so you will eat less!

  5. Cheat/Treat Meals – there is a higher success rate when you know you can still have some of the foods you love. You will learn how to plan for the extra calories and STILL stay on track!

  6. Quick & Easy Healthy Recipes - to use for the people with little time, no cooking skills, and just plan healthy eating! Me! :)

  7. Small Frequent Meals – to keep your energy up and combating binge eating! You will feel like you're eating ALL of the time!

  8. 90/10 Rule – Eat well 90% of the time and eat with no guilt 10% of the time. Anyone can do this and this program will teach you that!

YOU WILL GET RESULTS!
This program will include work on your part- you will need to do it! I will give you all the tools BUT you need to take action! Most people don’t accomplish their goals because they don’t have a plan- here it is! This program is designed for people who are ready to commit to the 21 days.

TESTIMONIALS FROM OUR 1ST CONTEST ENDING 9/15/11

Janice Before - July 2011                                                                                         Janice After - September 2011

In January of 2011 there wasn’t much I loved about my body. I had eaten my way through a long series of events, celebrations and holidays, and was starting to see numbers on the scale that I had only seen years ago when I was pregnant with twins.  I positively jiggled as I rang the New Year in: My body was encased in roly-poly-pillowy fat, I was huffing and puffing as I moved around from place to place, and my back was killing me. Not only that, I didn’t fit my regular clothes anymore so needed to go buy some new “emergency fat clothes.”  I hated looking in the mirror. “Who is that fat woman?”  I would think. “How could that be me?” I hated that image.  I hated what I had let happen to my body.
Like many people, on New Year’s Day I resolved to try to change this fat and unhealthy direction. But I wasn’t sure how to do it.  Over the years, I had tried all the things that most women have tried: gym memberships, weight-loss programs, and the latest fad diet books. None of these produced anything lasting.  I was reluctant to spend the time or money on these things again. I felt stuck.
Thank goodness that my next-door neighbor (and my morning walking partner) decided that she wasn’t getting enough exercise and that she was going to try something new on her own. She tried several different local exercise franchises to no avail but then landed on Tuff Girl Fitness. I immediately saw the results of the Tuff Girl Fitness workouts on her body.  After hearing her rave on and on about how great she felt after her Tuff Girl sessions, I decided maybe this was what I needed too. But I was highly skeptical.
I started Tuff Girl Fitness Boot Camp at the beginning of June.  I knew instantly that it was perfect for me: convenient, outside in the fresh air of local parks, with a group of nice ordinary women, no fuss, no frills, no hassle and a kick-my-butt-but-in-a-great-way workout. All of this and, of course, the winsome and very gifted Tuff Girl Personal Founder and Trainer Erica Nusom.
Here begins the love story. It’s the story of how I began to love my body again thanks to Erica and Tuff Girl Fitness Boot Camps.
I do admit that I was pretty intimidated the first day I came to Tuff Girl. I wasn’t sure I could keep up or even do some of the movements and exercises I was instructed to do. Simple things like hopping, jumping and skipping seemed daunting to me. I had zero confidence in my ability as an athlete and was pretty embarrassed at the shape I was in. But Erica has an unassuming, non-judgmental, no nonsense professional attitude that put me right at ease from day one.
I have now completed almost 4 months of boot camp and have to say, it has been amazing. All I have to do is show up and follow Erica’s lead. Every session is a new mix of interesting, challenging and invigorating workouts that push and train me at just the right pace.
For me, thankfully, Erica takes all the guesswork out of getting in shape and staying strong and fit. I saw great results in the month of June, so when she proposed a “21-day challenge and 2 month contest” for July and August, I just followed along and didn’t hesitate for a minute.
You can’t understand what it is like to have spent about 21 years of not being in good shape, of being overweight, of struggling to get fit, of watching your body shape decline, of hating how you look and then to start to see that all change. That is what this summer challenge did for me. I honestly can’t even believe it – but it is like a huge turn-around for me. I am so very thankful. It’s been amazing.
I am back in my “regular clothes” and they hang off me now. (I might have to get some “emergency skinny clothes.”) My back problems have diminished about 95%. I feel strong and I am getting stronger. My body confidence has returned. I actually ran a ½ marathon a few weeks back, which I couldn’t even believe I was able to do. Tuff Girl Fitness gave me the ability and belief that made that accomplishment possible.
I can’t wait to see what happens next as I continue on with Tuff Girl Fitness, set some new goals and continue on the road of health and strength.

I really enjoyed the extra challenge and accountability of the 2 month weight challenge.  Having the competition kept me accountable to my goals.  Even with the two weeks off in the middle I felt compelled to press in and keep working out meeting at the regular scheduled time.  The results: I met my goals!  The 2 month challenge also helped me look at some of my daily choices like how much soda I was drinking.  I decided to cut my soda intake in half.  I went from two diet sodas a day to one.  For me, it's about these small life style changes that I otherwise wouldn't have thought about or changed.  Even with the ups and downs of weight loss, my upper weight is still under my goal!  I've lost more inches than I've been averaging for the last 6 months and most importantly I feel great!  I've NEVER been on for exercising and dieting.  But it feels so good.  In the past, other mothers in my circles of new moms have had goals of exercising and getting back to their pre-pregnancy weight.  This was never me!  I always thought, that's great for YOU and I will kind of think about losing weight, but I never had a plan or goal.  Thus I was surprised to find my old weight log to find that I'm a mere THREE pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight!  I still can't believe that it was ME who reached this goal first out of all the moms in my mother groups.  Maybe this IS me now.  Maybe I am that lady that works hard and achieves goals.  I like the new me.  =)  For the first time in my life I've lost 20+ lbs just by working out.  I've watched what I eat without being able to diet (since I'm nursing) and I've consistently lost about 1lb a week since I became a Tuff-Girl!  I've tried curves, 24 hour fitness, personal trainers and have NEVER lost this much weight.  Tuff-Girl bootcamps work for me!  I love the accountability of meeting with a personal trainer and other ladies that are expecting me to show up.  I love the variety and challenges that change daily.  I love the competitions and the contests that keep things fun.  I love accountability of weighing in and milestone markers of timed running and planks.  I love the free weekend workouts that make me feel like I'm going above and beyond my normal workout.  I love what it means to be a tuff girl . . . to push through and try for MY personal best.  And of course, I love Erica, who pushing and encourages us Tuff Girls without sugar coating our progress or abilities.  This 2 month challenge has been a great addition to what was an already great fitness program!  Thanks Erica!

Over the past several months, I have had not only a physical change in my body but a mind change as well.  I look forward to working out and a little more aware of what I am eating.  With all the hard work I put in, I try to eat a little more sensibly.  I have noticed changes in my arms, I have muscles.  Who knew those were there?  I sure have NEVER seen them.  Muscles seem to be popping up all over - who knew?  Its exciting to go down 2 pants sizes and inches.  I feel better with how I look and am getting the confidence that I can do it.  It might take me longer but I am realizing that I'm getting faster and feel better with each workout.  Its also nice with the different workouts each day, I am never bored.  With turning 40 in June, I plan on looking better and feeling better at 40 than any other age.  I also plan on continuing this because I'm able to see actual changes.
