Attending your very first boot camp can be a bit of a daunting experience. You do not know what to expect, you are not sure if you can even handle it. Well, no one said toning up and weight loss were going to be easy! Boot camps aren't a walk in the park, they are HARD work! But all you have to do is believe in yourself and you can do anything you set your mind to! When it comes to boot camp, if you want results you have to work hard. All of those folks who have made the initial plunge end up absolutely loving it... well most anyway ;-) !

If you are attending a boot camp for the FIRST time you will be required to sign a waiver form and answer a couple questionnaires. These will be e-mailed to you once you register.
Our boot camp is help in a central location in Livermore and will be disclosed after you register and before camp starts, for camper’s privacy. We will hold camp indoors during the winter months. Although, we do workout outdoors some days to change it up.
Yes. There will be an introduction meeting the Friday before camp starts; same time as camp 5:30am-6:30am. I will give you information about camp, do your pre- camp measurements and answer any questions you have. We meet at Starbucks to chat and you enjoy a coffee on us!
For every boot camp session we ask that you please bring a set of 3- 10 lbs dumbbells (depending on your fitness level), a mat (yoga mat or thick exercise mat), a workout towel and plenty of water. You need to dress in athletic shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather. When it gets colder you may want to dress in light layers and bring a hat and gloves.
As a reminder, payment is due before the first day of boot camp and you can choose to pay us either by a check, that is payable to "Tuff Girl Fitness”, or pay via Paypal. If you are unable to attend camp and you notify us prior to your first day of camp, we will give you a refund (minus a $25 cancellation fee). Please remember that if you pay via Paypal, the fees that Paypal charges us to accept your payment are non-refundable. If we are notified of your cancellation after your camp begins, we can only give you a credit towards another boot camp. Your credit is transferable. There is no cash refunds. Gift certificates are available if you would like to transfer your credit to someone else or offer it as a gift.
A little light rain only makes for a better boot camp experience! We will adjust our workout if it is rainy and wet to keep you off the grass during light rain. However if the weather is extremely horrible, we will cancel and reschedule that day. We make up all missed sessions on Fridays or during the off-week between boot camps. In the winter months camp is held indoors. Although, we do workout outdoors some days to change it up.
Our bodies perform best when our muscles have glycogen available. After sleeping (and fasting) all night we suggest you eat something light - a piece of fruit, a small amount of oatmeal, cereal, yogurt - or drink juice before coming to workout. It's also important to eat some carbs and protein after your workout to replenish your body and help repair it. You'll be fatiqued from working so hard, so you need to continue to support your body after your workout.
Our workout sessions are 60 minutes. Boot camps are usually 4 weeks (depending on holidays and our vacations) with a week off in-between camps.
Give 110%. Believe in yourself. Encourage and support others. BE ON TIME!
Expect the unexpected. Our boot camp training is a bit like organized chaos. We'll throw in sprints, plyometrics, strength training, calisthenics, games, partner challenges, team challenges, individual fitness challenge and more.
We get people of all fitness and skill levels. Everyone that attends camp is just like you: trying to take their fitness to the next level and change their body to look the way they believe it should look. And after 4 weeks everyone has made some serious progress. All you really need to do is show up and do the best you can.
I will provide you regular nutritional guidance. If you have specific questions please feel free to contact us. For those who want a specific plan to follow, we recommend contacting a Registered Dietician or Nutritionist.

Remember, every individual is different. Everyone's experience with boot camp will be different and everyone will achieve different results. However, you WILL be moving better, feeling better, stronger and leaner, after just the first 4 weeks of Boot Camp.
